IMPORT/EXPORT is the result of a convergence of experiences whose culmination in a pilot event (Belgrade, Serbia 2020) sparked a greater desire to further research a new type of performance art platform. Its methodology format prioritizes transparency in a functional working environment, potentiating communication between its performing artists, artist networks and spaces presenting performance art. IMPORT/EXPORT is a transnational practice based project, igniting cultural exchange with new communities through live artwork and encouraging sound international partnerships. A curatorial handbook will be created from these experiences, to be published and distributed at the end of this first cycle of the project (2026).
With the financial contribution of Creative Europe, il Comune di Livorno, la Fondazione Livorno, the Ministery of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and il Consiglio regionale de la Regione Toscana.
